Dear All Kids Academy Parents/Guardians,
We hope this find you and your families safe and healthy.
We recognize these are both uncharted and unprecedented times and tremendously appreciate your flexibility and understanding. To borrow from a well -used phrase heard often these last few weeks, “we are all in this together.”
We wanted to take a few moments to update you and provide you with what appears to be the latest direction as of today. Please know this is ever-changing and it seems as if as soon as something is put to print; it changes. Given this we have set up this NEWS tab to provide you with the most up to date information.
As many of you have heard, the State of California is on a stay at home order and the President most recently announced he does not believe a reprieve to this pandemic until April 30, 2020. Further, many of you are aware that the school districts have extended their closures for the remainder of this school year at the directive of Governor Newsom and the California Department of Education. It is All Kids Academy’s approach to follow the lead of the local school districts and health authorities in concert with the direction from NHA, our Grantee. Based on the latest feedback from all sources, our site closure has been extended until further notice.
As the closure time extends, we are in the process of developing strategies and plans that we can serve you and keep in communication remotely for both family services and education services. To promote distance learning, weekly educational activities, lessons plans, and videos can be found on the agency website under the NEWS AND RESOURCE TAB, section called HOME LEARNING KIT. The RESOURCES FOR FAMILY section provides many resources, including meal distribution information and guidance on How to Talk to Your Kids About The Coronavirus. Ultimately, it is our mission to support you by keeping you engaged at this disconcerting time. As the plan unfolds and is finalized, information will be posted on the website in the NEWS section found under the NEWS AND RESOURCE TAB. Please watch out for these important communications to advise of next steps in the upcoming week.

Reconocemos que estos tiempos son tanto inexplorados como sin precedentes, y apreciamos tremendamente su flexibilidad y compresión. Para tomar prestado de una frase bien conocida que se escucha con frecuencia en estas últimas pocas semanas, “todos estamos juntos en esto.”
Nos gustaría tomar unos momentos para actualizar y proveerles con lo que parece ser la dirección más reciente desde el día de hoy. Por favor conozcan que esto está cambiando constantemente. Parece que tan pronto como se imprime algo, las cosas cambian. Dado esto, hemos configurado una seccion de NOTICIAS (“NEWS”) para brindarles la información más actualizada.
Tal como muchos de ustedes han escuchado, el estado de California está bajo la orden de quedarse en casa, y el Presidente anunció recientemente no cree que se suspenda esta pandemia hasta el 30 de abril, 2020. Además, ustedes saben que los distritos escolares han extendido sus cierres por el resto de este año escolar bajo la dirección del gobernador Newsom y el Departamento Educativo de California. Es el enfoque de All Kids Academy de seguir los distritos escolares locales y las autoridades de salud en concierto con la dirección de NHA, nuestro concesionario. Por último, es nuesta misión apoyarlos manteniéndolos comprometidos en este momento desconcertante.
