About All Kids Academy Head Start, Inc.

All Kids Academy Head Start is a non-profit, 501(C)(3) agency federally funded from the Office of Head Start. Subsidized funding is received from the California State Preschool Program (CSPP) and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). As participants in the Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS), All Kids Academy Head Start, Inc. receives quality enhancement funding provided by the San Diego Quality Preschool Initiative program.

All Kids Academy Head Start, Inc. is based on the premise that all children share certain needs, and children from low-income families in particular, can benefit from a comprehensive, researched based, child development program designed to meet those needs and close the achievement gap. Our approach embodies both the child and their family by providing comprehensive services to ensure each child is healthy and ready for school, while supporting parents in their work and child-rearing roles.

Head Start for Preschoolers

The Head Start program provides comprehensive services for children, ages 3 to 5. The goals of Head Start is to ensure children are healthy and kindergarten ready. The education curriculum is individualized to promote school readiness and aligns with the California Preschool Learning Foundations.

Early Head Start for Infant/Toddlers

The Early Head Start program provides comprehensive services for infants and toddlers, birth to age 3. The goals of Early Head Start are to provide safe and developmentally enriching caregiving, which promotes the physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of infants and toddlers, and prepares them for future growth and development.
