Required Documents to Upload for Online Application Process
- Child’s Proof of Age (Birth Certificate, insurance card, immunization record, hospital records,etc.)
- Proof of Income (choose one of the following)
- Verification of Cal Fresh/SNAP (EBT), CalWORKs/TANF or SSI
- Previous years’ tax forms (W2 or 1040) or 30 days of consecutive pay stubs
- Unemployment documents
- Self-declarations available for informal employment
- Individual Education Plan (IEP) or Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP). *If applicable
Please Note: Additional Family Members
Any additional family members that are residing in the home and are being supported by the income of one or both parents must also be included in the application. This could be additional children, grandparents, etc. The poverty guidelines are adjusted for families of different sizes and are used to determine eligibility for Early Head Start and Head Start services.
Next Steps!
- Once you submit your Eligibility Application, you will be contacted by an application representative from our Administration Office. They will verify the submitted information and determine eligibility through a phone interview.
- Once correct documentation has been reviewed, your child will then be placed on a wait list at the two center locations you selected. If the centers selected are at maximum capacity and all required information is not submitted timely or missing, the process will be delayed.
- Program space is based on center capacity and enrollment is not guaranteed.
The application is not complete until an application representative contacts you and your child is placed on the All Kids Academy Wait List.
Applications for children under the age of 5 years are accepted year-round.
To be eligible, families must meet federal poverty income guidelines (see table 1), however an exception may be made for children with disabilities whose families are slightly over the income threshold. Children from foster families and families experiencing homelessness are automatically eligible.
All Kids Academy participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and is an equal opportunity provider. CACFP is a state and federally funded program that provides financial aid to licensed child care centers for food expenses. The objectives of the program are to improve the diets of children in our care by providing nutritious, well-balanced meals, and to develop good eating habits in children that will last through later years.
